There is an ancient story about the goddess Inanna, who chose to descend into the underworld. At each gate, something was removed — not just adornment, but identity. Titles. Roles. The versions of herself the world recognized. She did not return unchanged. She returned aware.

 

My life mirrored that descent. Major loss, recovery, disrupted attachment, and the slow unraveling of who I thought I had to be. What emerged was not the person I was before — but someone clearer, more grounded, and no longer willing to abandon herself to remain connected.

 

Phoenix Empowered was born from that transformation. This work exists to name patterns, restore identity, and support women rebuilding after survival.
